What's the Matter with Henry? The True Tale of a Three-Legged Cat
Authors Cathy Conheim and BJ Gallagher have generously donated the use of the book
"What's the Matter with Henry?" The True Tale of a Three-Legged Cat to be translated into
Haitian Creole for children affected by the earthquake. Project K.I.D. wishes to
acknowledge the efforts of Marie Woodson and Vanessa Charles-Marc for their work on
the translation.

Henry reaches out to children amputees in Haiti
Henry watched with interest and distress the chaos that is happening following the earthquake.
He wanted to do something to help. His managing director, Heather Wood Ion, is part of a group
called Project K.I.D., which sets up safe child-care sites during disasters.
They asked for Henry's help in sending copies of the books and workbooks to use in these sites.
Henry wanted to help, too. With the help of a paw pal who is French, he wrote a
French-language summary of his story. He will be sending five hundred workbooks for
children facing challenges, his storybook, and the summary. We each have to extend
ourselves and share in the healing so needed. Henry extends his remaining front paw
to the children who will lose a limb or two.
Help Project K.I.D. reach its goal!
