Help Us Build an Orphanage
Project K.I.D. is working in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast, Lazarian World Homes and the Children's Forum in Florida to build an orphanage in Kenscoff, Haiti (located 15 km outside of Port-au-Prince). International Helping Hearts orphanage, founded by Haitian-American Maxime Renelus, is officially registered and recognized by the government of Haiti and owns the property where the orphanage will be built. The children at this orphanage are currently living in tents and are not thriving due to the poor living conditions.
In an effort to raise $60,000 to build this orphanage, you or your group can join with St. Paul Episcopal Church in Daphne, Alabama, the Children's Forum in Tallahassee, Florida and many others to donate $500 to the Orphanage Fund that will create a save clean space for one of 120 orphans who lost their parents during the January 2010 earthquake. Each face below represents one child who would love to go to sleep in a dry safe environment every night. Your donation can make that dream come true.
